NoteA spoken word recorded on one of the early Rollins Band tours of Australia. This isn't the comedian Rollins we all are used to now. It's the crazy, cop hating guy with all his dark journal stuff. It obviously resembles some of the earlier Rollins spoken word albums. Also some of this material is directly related to the "Adventures of an Arsehole" story.

This was recorded in a small local Sydney pub called the Lansdowne which was a pretty cool venue at the time. I copied this from the taper's copy many years ago onto a spare cheapo BASF cassette. Still the sound is fine and there is no difficulty in understanding it at all.

I have tracked it where the main topics change, that is pretty much where Rollins says "anyway...".

Its interesting hearing the story of Yass and being hassled by the cop as I have heard the same story from someone in the support band who was there. He said it wasn't the heavy police harrasment tale that Rollins makes it out to be. I guess it shows Rollin's quite dark perspective on things.
