NoteI saw the Cocteau Twins playing on 'Whatever You Want' on UK TV in late 1982. I had to see them. This was the next gig - maybe a week or so after the broadcast. Although I was a taper, I went along with an old school friend who hadn't been to gigs before, so I left my recorder at home. I saw someone recording it (CB) and got his address before we went home. Gordon Sharp of Cindytalk sings on the first and last tracks. Liz kept apologizing for the buzzing on the PA, but she didn't need to. They played so loud that it didn't matter.

I remember sending copies to a few mates once the Cocteaus began to get popular about a year later. If you have a tape and it has a break after song 6, it's probably a distant descendent of my old D46. This, however, is the real thing.

No CD artwork but I have included scans of the gig ticket, flyer and the poster for Garlands.

Enjoy. Turn it up loud. Remember to thank CB for recording this!
