Unfortunately, I gotta start on the grim side. I find it unfortunate that with such an important recording in the annals of SP, this is the source that circulates. It's questionable, at best. Maybe someone somewhere has a real FM or pFM of this. Please? Anyways... ...that said, let's get to it. It's a re-work of the one I first seeded about 18 months ago. As I redid the other Chicago show in April that year, I felt this one was important enough to me that it get some extra attention as well. Also banter was cut from the first one, so it's been put back in this one. But as usual, the DJ's are gone completely (I think I said 'completely" on the fist one, but I missed a bit of yammering in some spots.) It's been improved on quality as well with a nicer balance of the spectrum, smoother edits and transitions plus all the banter. A solid show from top to bottom...though probably not the last show at the United Center, as we all were originally led to believe. |
