On March 29th, 2013, WMSE 91.7 FM's Blues Drive's hosted by Sonia welcomed the leaders of the Avant Garde Project to speak about the project. The project is a collection of artifacts, photographs, music, film, workshops, galleries and performances celebrating and documenting the Avant Garde Coffeehouse, operated in Milwaukee from 1962 until October of 1968.
