J-Card Comment | Journey - Live at Nakano Sunplaza (Tokyo - October 13th 1980 - Upgraded Audio - by Bootradr & Ljerk BL001v1 - 2012)
This concert is the same show also mistakenly shared as "Journey - Live at Exhibition Hall (Osaka)" and with a number of other titles with the incorrect date of Octber 10th, 1980.
This project contains the original video stream synchronized with a new (much better and lower generation) stereo audio stream. A second audio stream, which is the the video's default mono audio stream but balanced, is included too too. Most versions of this show that have surfaced, with the wrong city, venue, and date, have mono audio. The stereo audio for this show is very rare and not as easy to find.
The original video and audio streams are NOT re-encoded and the new audio stream is synchronized to the video. There are very few few gaps in the upgraded, stereo audio stream. These gaps are filled in with the video's original audio stream. It flows perfectly and flawlessly.
DISCLAIMER CLAUSE: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=387364&hit=1 (our new project has a much lower generation and better lossless stereo audio source used in the build as well as a balanced mono stream from the original video source too. See the following information for a few other Dime rules followed" upgrades that differ from the previous Dime uploaded version too)

Bootradr Comments:
This is a project I've been working on myself over the past two years (since I got the excellent stereo audio source) but have run into too many problems (primarily due to software I have used) along the way. Until I met Ljerk earlier this year, I'd put this project on the back burner because it wasn't working out right on my end. I am very happy with the work and help Ljerk has provided! Without his help, this project would still be just that (a project).
There is a better video source of this show out there and I'm still working on one day getting it. I've only got a lossy 640 x 480 avi version of that source unfortunately and have lost contact with the person who has the VHS tape of it. But it does exist I know! And hopefully, in the not too distant future, it will be available again. If and when this happens, I'm sure Ljerk and me will make it into the "Definitive Tokyo 1980" Dime torrent :-)
The new, stereo audio source used in this DVD project far surpasses any audio from this show I have ever heard! You will definitely enjoy it!
I hope you enjoy the show...

Ljerk Comments:
My hobby is video editing. I upload many edited rock concerts to YouTube with the label "DHV".
I also edited another version with many filters of this balanced concert video being shared on DIME (they are not to DIME standards - cropping, colour changes, resizing, noise reduction, video EQ and re-encoding done and they are completely separate versions). Of course, this isn't what is being uploaded here so as to comply with DIME's standards and rules. See the sample on this upload's Info menu and compare the original and balanced video version's there ("Dixie Highway" song).
I uploaded the balanced HD version to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bdjQ3coxrk
Both filtered versions, the DVD-5 video (NTSC DVD-Video) and the DVD-5 UDF (HD 720p - 4.01 GB mp4 file) versions, can also be found on Bootradr's website soon.
