Right at the beginning of the tour Banshees Kenny Morris and John McKay walked out, and the tour had to be postponed while replacements were found. Budgie was brought in from the Slits, and when no guitarist could be found, Robert Smith of the Cure (the opening band on the tour) agreed to fill in.
