Picture quality & perspective (balcony) is very reminiscent of the 8min 1982-09-01 Ritz fragment, except the NYC show has better audio. Like the 3rd gen copy posted 2 years ago, there is some brief instances of crackling in the audio, probably part of the recording itself. bonus: 1982-06-18 @Don Neal's, Kalamazoo, MI (5:57) Just under 6 minutes of pristine silent8 footage with audio from the 1982-07-24 San Francisco FM broadcast played over-top. This one was uncirculated until squirly's punktorrents upload earlier this month. So big thanks to him! It was part of the Syntax (Michigan - Ohio) public access broadcast series. In all likelihood, this transfer comes from the master & wasn't recorded off tv. |
