Comment: I have noticed that there has been some "controversy" over the date of this

recording. However, I am glad to let you know that I have figured out the exact date by

listening carefully to the radio speaker on track 5:
"...This next selection is one that has been a stable in the jazz reportoire ever since

Coleman Hawkins recorded a classic version in 1939 - in fact on this very same day - october

11th 1939. This is Body & Soul".
Consequently, the date of the show is October 11th.
