Steady camera work, a tripod might have been used. Simple menu and proper chapter markers are included. This performance was long available only as an incomplete audio recording. I believe the incomplete audio used the audio from the video source. I bought my vhs copy on ebay about 4 years ago, the first time I had ever seen a video of this show offered for sale or trade. I believe this show had just begun circulating amongst tape traders around that time. This is the first ever Samhain concert and this lineup includes Lyle Preslar on guitar. Although Lyle contributed to the recording of the "Initium" album, this is the only concert he performed with the band. In fact, Samhain would not play another gig for almost 6 months, by which time Lyle had moved on and Damien had joined. Glenn plays guitar on "Macabre" and "Archangel". |
