| Note | With all the recent soundboard re-issues it takes a bit getting used listening to an old fashioned audience recording. That said I have to admit that this is actually a pretty decent show. Elvis really rocks through his basic set-list with “Help Meâ€, Spanish Eyes†and “Let Me Be There†as the new additions to this engagement. This February 7, 1974 Midnight Show does not hold any real highlights that really stand out from the rest; it is a solid performance.
The audio quality isn’t too bad for an audience recording, Elvis’ voice is clearly audible, but it is hard to enjoy with all the great Audionics releases in mind. To be honest, it took some effort to complete the CD as I wanted to give the new “Showroom Internationale†set another spin. |
