Comment | Einstürzende Neubauten's debut concert.
Line-up: Blixa Bargeld, N.U. Unruh, Beate Bartel, Gudrun Gut from "Mania D." About 50 people attended. They performed improvised music to Super-8 films and sounded very much like a 'real' band with Blixa Bargeld (a.k.a. Christian Emmerich) on vocals and guitar, Beate Bartel on bass, Gudrun Gut (a.k.a. Gudrun Bredemann) on Korg MS-20 synthesiser, and N.U. Unruh (a.k.a. N-Dih or Andrew Chudy) on real drums. Gudrun and Beate were, at the time, also in Mania D. The concert was recorded by the band and later sold as a cassette in Blixa's 'Eisengrau' shop on Goltzstrasse, Berlin (this shop used to be Gudrun & Bettina Köster's shop and Mania D.'s rehearsal room). All available on the "Einstürzende Neubauten:Live In Kunstkopfstereo" cassette, except (*) on the "Chaos/Sehnsucht/Energie" cassette. |
