| J-Card Comment | Info File: Rapeman Unknown venue Evanston, IL likely 1988 Notes: This is another tape I received in a trade around 2000 from an employee of the legendary Chicago club Exit. The tape was labeled simply "Rapeman - Evanston" with no date or venue. This show may be previously uncirculated as the set list doesn't exactly match any of the other circulating Rapeman shows. It sounds like an informal show as there is a lot of back and forth between the band and the audience. The sound quality is excellent (mp3 samples are below). I'm not that familiar with the band, so I'd appreciate it if any of you Albini experts could confirm if this show has made the rounds before. Tracks 9 and 11 have no music, just banter between the audience and band. Please do not convert to mp3 or other lossy format except for personal use.
