PACIFIC AMPHITHEATRE COSTA MESA CA October 2, 1988 DVDR from a trade -TLH - you NTSC Pro Shot By special request of mr_mags Again, I don't know if this has been upped here before. If not, consider it as a reseed then. The video quality is fine, though the colouring is a bit blue-ish. Filmed from a fixed position at the left side of the stage. Unfortunately this all the video footage I have from this steaming show. There is however a full AUD version of this show available. Apart from the fact that the Reunion Band did some great gigs in 88, this show was particularly special because of the guests on tracks 6 and 7. CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THAT THE TITLE OF 7 IS INDEED COAL TRAIN? OR GIVE THE CORRECT TITLE?? IT IS THE SAME AS THE TRACK THEY PLAYED IN SARATOGA ON 08-09-89, WHERE IT IS LABELLED "COAL TRAIN" 01. Savor/Jose “Chepito†Areas/Armando Peraza 02. Goodness and mercy 03. Once it's gotcha 04. Toussaint L'Overture 05. Soul Sacrifice 06. Everybody's everything 07. Coal train 08. Deeper, dig deeper/Band introduction Total Time: 63.13 The Reunion Band line up Carlos Santana Jose “Chepito†Areas Alphonso Johnson Armando Peraza Gregg Rolie Michael Shrieve Chester Thompson On tracks 6,7 and 8 Cesar Rosas (Los Lobos) Jimmy Vaughan Stevie Ray Vaughan |
