NoteJon Anderson : The Lostbrook Tape Series - Volume 11

The early 80’s was a difficult time for veteran fans of
progressive rock. Our favorite groups had disappeared,
commercialized, or splintered into unusual fragments. Yes
did not exist for me without Jon Anderson, but I didn’t own
Animation either. None of that mattered however– times had
changed, but an opportunity to see Jon Anderson was still
special. We had fifth row seats on the left center aisle – a
fantastic view, but not the best location for taping. Good
sound in the Palladium was always elusive, especially in the
better seats, but we didn’t notice it at the time as Jon
entertained us with solo material and a choice selection of
Yes favorites. Enjoy!
