I taped the last 2 songs by Tesco Vee Hate Police although I should have taped the whole thing since they put on a good show. My recorder has been glitchy (and will soon be replaced) and I didn't want anything to go wrong before Negative Approach took the stage. At the end of the TVHP set, a band called The Fix from Lansing took the stage for one song. I had never been to a hardcore show before. I was really impressed by the energy onstage, but doubt I'll make it a regular part of my concert going. I am friends with someone who went to high school with John Brennen and was big in the 80's Detroit punk scene. I should upload this in the "hardcore" category on Dime, but it's one of the more underutilized genres so I am putting it in "punk".
