Recorded April and May 1977, Wessex Sound Studios, Wessex UK The source of this boot was a 10 track reel auctioned at Sotheby's in the late 1980's. From Clinton Heylin's book "Classic Rock Albums: Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols": The fact that this tape comprises versions of eight of the tracks to make Bollocks and five actual album cuts suggests that this was some kind of master reel, to which potential contenders for album status had at some point been pulled.
