| Note | A-/A- is more accurate. The original VHS source had obviously aged a bit aged before the transfer was made. There is a definate analog presence on the audio and a bit of tracking presence on the video, but both the sound and picture are still excellent. The performance is fun, but like most live hip-hop, the songs presented are mostly just a verse and a chorus, and there is a ton of banter, most of which is pretty stupid. Still, before Cube devoted his life to unwatchable family comedies, he made some truly awesome records, and this gig adeptly spotlights that. This won't blow you away, but if you're a fan, this is a very enjoyable disc. |
