Cat'll Call Records CCR-05 In late 1998 You Am I began work on recording tracks for their fifth studio album. It would not be until 2001 that "Dress Me Slowly" would be released, after several attempts and with a new member in the lineup, guitarist Davey Lane. The material presented here includes alternate versions of a number of officially released tracks, plus some previously unavailable. To my ears, these sound like band demos, or perhaps early takes in some cases (some tracks have obvious overdubs such as backing vocals). The material on this disc probably dates from late 1998 to early 2000, as the tracks recorded during the remainder of that year are not represented.
