| Note | Compiler's comments:This collection includes all the tracks from The Other CAS, plus a few others that I got from other sources. Instead of using the previous bootleg's questionable tracks, I took tracks off of the actual single CDs--half of which I already had. If I had to take a song from The Other CAS , I took it into my audio editing program (I use Adobe Premiere) and manually removed the pop from the beginning (it was actually quite easy). Track 1-08 is an unreleased b-side that I took from another collection which you can find in my Compilations/Miscellaneous section. Tracks 2-08 - 2-09 are mp3s that I converted to audio CD track files. The first features the controversial Anthony Drennan guitar solo interpretation (I think it sounds fine--they've done this song so many darn times, it must have been nice to have somebody different playing it, to breathe some new life into it), and was taken from the now-defunct Genesis web site "The Path." "The Dividing Line" is from the Birmingham radio broadcast which I have in more complete and better quality versions below. Like most live performances of this song, this one totally rocks. A great song to play for anyone who is dissing on Ray Wilson Genesis.
Tracks 2-05 - 2-07 are also taken from the compilation disc that had "Nowhere Else to Turn." "Small Talk" sounds great (it's also from the RTL studio show), but 2-06 and 2-07 are lower quality audience recordings--very muffled. However, all three of these songs were played very, very rarely on this tour ("Small Talk" and "That's All" were to my knowledge only played once), so as such they are valuable tracks to have. |
