Sound Blaster Live Line In (sorry I will upgrade one day) Recorded at 16 bit, 96 000 Hz using Sound Forge 6.>SHN Timing was a little out so file was adjusted to correct time/pitch. Files were resampled to 44 100 Hz for CD compatibility and split in CD wav. No other form of sound adjustment has been made. The disc is over 20 years old and there were a couple of clicks (one big one in track 2) and a little surface noise during the quieter songs. This show has been widely bootlegged and few people seem to know that it was originally distributed as a broadcast vinyl to college radio stations and the like. I seem to recall reading at some point (if anyone knows where I might have read this please let me know as I have forgotten) that this disc was pressed in larger numbers than most radio show discs and that a good number were used for promotion. I won´t say where mine came from, or what I paid for it. But it is an original, not one of the many bootlegs that were pressed. It has long been one of the unattainable U2 items I never thought I would get to own. |
