Notes: This performance was part of a celebration held in honor KISS FM's (WRKS 98.7) becoming the No. 1 radio station in the New York City market. This feat is often credited to Barry Mayo who introduces Run DMC at the start of this showÉ and who was influential in programming changes which were made at KISS FM in the mid-1980s. These changes made it possible for rap acts such as Run DMC to receive airplay along side of established artists like Kool and the Gang.
