I obtained this low generation copy back in 1995. The tape was labeled "Wu Tang 12-31-93 Palladium NY." Even in 1995, "Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)" was already considered a rap classic. It didn't matter what other kind of music you listened to ...or what clique you considered yourself to be part of ...you liked the Wu Tang Clan. Note: The Palladium closed in 1998 and was subsequently torn down. It was located on the south side of East 14th Street, between Irving Place and 3rd Ave. Today New York University owns this land and has built a residence hall where the Palladium once stood. |
