| Set 1 | The entire cd is only 11 minutes and 17 seconds. The dvd begins with a still photograph of the 1987 Lynyrd Skynyrd Reunion Tour Band. That still lasts about 10 seconds and then on to the video. The video itself is hand held and shot from the audience. This is the ONLY video that exists of the band so appreciate it for what it is. We see Dale Krantz when she was still quite young and rather sexy and lovely. Allen Collins wears all white. Gary looks about like he always did. Barry Lee Harwood is featured in much of the film. It's great to watch Dale gyrating and her hair is very long and attractive. Derek Hess, the drummer of the band, is there as well and his hair is pretty long. Artimus Pyle comes out on crutches. Some of the film seems to overlap as Artimus appears about three times. It's hard to tell what is going on. The thing that is most important though is that there was NO SOUND for this short bit of film. Some LIVE RCB is played over the tape so we have some music to go with the somewhat
"challenged" video. I lifted this from a vhs tape. It was between the 87 Reunion tour Alabama show in 1987 and just before the Charlie Daniels Band Volunteer Jam in 1979. The value of this disc is that one can more easily trade this little snippet/collectible so folks might add it to their audio and video collection. |
