Comments:
Excellent FM stereo thanks to a Radio 1 broadcast. Details as being a soundboard recording.
Jimmy Page guests with band on "Train" and "Walk This Way". Short set as Aerosmith were the
co-headliners on the day with Whitesnake being lthe main act.

review by: Wesley
Being co-headliner brings the best out of this band! Is that true? Well, it really is a good
performance and it certainly rocks! Before Monkey on my Back, Steven tells the crowd that
the show is broadcast live all over England thanks to BBC 1. "They told me not to say those
F-words, I'm not, I'll shut my mouth and let the music do the talking!" And it does: the
monkey is "f#cking!" The background singer makes a mistake during Janie's Got a Gun: instead
of "tell me it's untrue, what did her daddy do," he clearly skips the first part and starts
with "what did..." Steven sings the right lyrics, though. Further on, a guitar amplifier
doesn't seem to work right, because there are suddenly some guitar notes that come crashing
in. No dirty lyrics whatsoever because the BBC asked for it? Well, in Love in an Elevator
it is "Kiss your funky ass" and Sweet Emotion contains all known alternate dirty lyrics.
After Train Kept a Rollin' (with Page) Steven tells the crowd: "I don't know about you. My
dick got hard." So, no F-words, but for that you got something in return. Although Jimmy
Page is performing with the band on Train Kept a Rollin' and Walk This Way, they don't
sound rare. I can't really hear much difference with live versions of the mentioned songs
without Jimmy Page.
