NoteThis is a nice audience recording of the Rolling Stones at the Inglewood Forum, near Los Angeles. It was the second city on their fall 1969 US Tour, which was later to be immortalized on "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" and "Gimme Shelter."

There are two recordings of this show. Probably the better known version is the one released by VGP as part of "Cocaine On A Dentist Chair." This is the other recording; I believe its only bootleg release is "Born in a Crossfire Hurricane" by Sonic Zoom. I am pretty sure this version was recorded by the TMOQ guys, who recorded several West Coast shows, the most well known of which is from the following night: "LiveR Than You'll Ever Be."

This is a lower generation source than Sonic Zoom had, and runs closer to the correct speed. I patched three cuts using the VGP source: Sam Cutler's introduction, a five second section of JJ Flash, and the first part of Live with Me.

VGP's recording is good, but I prefer this one. VGP's has the guitars extremely loud in the mix. This version has more bass and drums, and the vocals are more audible. I assume TMOQ didn't consider this worthy of release because their recordings of the next two nights in San Francisco and San Diego turned out better, but this is very listenable.
