| Note | The video is more like a B- here, but despite some serious motion sickness movements, there are some great closeups and the analog source has survived well. Sound is pretty muddy and distant though, and there is some chatter in places ("Kill 'em, GWAR!"). It's actually a very watchable disc, but unfortunately the taper didn't stick with the entire show. The Years Without Light cuts out at the very end, as does Gilded Lily, and I'm not sure what is lost between those two songs. Strangely, there is about 10 seconds of footage after that which seems to be from another tour (I'm fairly positive it's the end of Bad Bad Men), then the show resumes at the end of Gor Gor before concluding. It's a shame because it's a great show up until then. Definately for completists only, but there's not a lot of footage from this era, so serious fans may be excited to hear some rare gems like Blimey and Gilded Lily. |
