1995 A VINYL GANG PRODUCT Label: VGP-049 * Live At Empire Pool, Wembley, April 26, 1964 NME Poll-Winners Concert Lineage: Original silver CD > scottkeef's wave cd-r > dBpowerAMP > FLAC-Level 5 There are only a handful of good recordings of the Rolling Stones' short tour of Europe in the fall of 1970. This is one of them. I'd rate it as VG to VG+ audience. This was the day Jimi Hendrix died, and Brown Sugar is briefly dedicated to him. Since the performance is pretty short, Vinyl Gang added some filler from an earlier era, the 1964 New Musical Express Pollwinners concert. |
