Note | A nice, crisp, close-miked soundboard, albeit in mono, with some compression that keeps this from a "SB 6" rating - excellent nonetheless.
Packaged in a license-plate sized and shaped cardboard folder, with the CDs packaged in a small pouch. The fourth public performance (fifth overall) of the "Legends" summer tour of jazz festivals. As the shows continued, the band kept stretching out more each night. Some of the "jam band" type fans complain about having the same setlist every night, but what's the point of playing different songs if they're always played the same boring way when they are played? One thing about these guys ... none of them have ever played the same solo twice, ever. It doesn't matter if they've played a song 1,000 times, every time it's a new direction. Fantastic to have this as a nice soundboard! |
