| Note | You got to love the story behind these discarded acetates. They're actually very well preserved considering they spent some time in a dumpster. There are some crackles and pops from the original source, and a couple of fluctuations that reveal the eroded tape, but other than that, these demos sound great. The versions here aren't significantly different than the final recorded versions, but it's a fun listen nonetheless. Some of the material from the unreleased 3rd album is excellent, and some is fairly standard, but the sound quality throughout is fantastic and this entire disc is certainly an enjoyable piece for any fan of the early Boston stuff. Cool. |
