NoteHere is a recording of Eric Clapton that came out better than we expected with the
equipment used to record. I had recently obtained the above mentioned Panasonic RQ-
336 Stereo Cassette recorder, and while at a good friends house (dave L.), a
friend of his visited, who worked at the local university. The conversation got to
Eric Clapton as we all happened to have tickets, but at different locations. This
friend of Dave's wanted to borrow my new recorder and record as his seats were near
the stage left speakers. Dave and our group were on the floor about half-way back
as I recall. This was ok with me as I had never actually snuck in any equipment,
and was not experienced at "stealth" recording methods...yet.

We transfered the master through a 12 band equalizer, and omitted the Alvin Lee song
that was right after the 1st Ramblin'. We wanted to fit the recording on to a 90 min.
cassette (please forgive our ignorance!). So here is an apparently rare Eric Clapton
recording that I did not record, but my equipment was involved. A special thanks to
that friend of Dave's (Dave can't remember the guy's name as I contacted Dave and
asked him) who had the smarts to get this show recorded!
