This is a very special and odd show. The Residents equipment never showed up in Tromsoe, so they had to borrow instruments from the audience and make costumes from whatever they could find. There was even an announcement to the ticketholders that they could get a refund if they didn't like the idea of the Residents performing on borrowed equipment. This is absolutely NOT the best sounding 13th anni show, there are many out there that is better sounding than this. But it is an historical moment and i wish i had been there! I added some actual pix that someone (O.C.?) sent to Big Brother from the show where you can see their faboulous outfits and stage gear. If anyone has a better quality, more complete or just plain different recording then please post it. Please don't post this anywhere but DIME and If you like this, then SUPPORT THE RESIDENTS!! Buy their official releases instead of downloading them illegaly from the various blogs out there. |
