| Note | This is a really cool 76-minute show that features long and often funny interview segments interspliced with acoustic performances. This was sourced from a podcast, so there is mp3 lineage, but you wouldn't know it by listening. This is a professional broadcast recording, but the live sound isn't as crisp as you would expect. Sadly, the sound on Chillout Tent is pretty rough, but adjustments are made during the tune, and the overall recording improves throughout the show. There are several spots where it's obvious edits have been made, so I'm not sure how long the entire show originally was, or if any tunes are missing. There's also no conclusion to the interview, so it seems obvious that there was more to come. My disc contains the entire podcast, so although it's possible there was a longer broadcast when this originally appeared on the radio, this appears to be all that circulates. The entire show is on one long track. Despite the muddy sound at the beginning, this is still an excellent show, and the loose extended interview segments give us the feel of hanging out with the band shooting the shit. Any fan will dig this unique and fun performance. |
