| Note | On same disc as 11/22/91. The sound here isn't as good as the other show on the disc (closer to B- for most of the gig), but it's still a great document. Again, there is a presence from the VHS source, but the footage was preserved very well. The taper moves around between songs to get different angles, so there are cuts that lose banter. This is also a plus, however, because you end up with a good variety of views. The couple of songs that are filmed from in front of the stage have great close-ups, but the sound is muddier because the camera mic is blown out a bit by the amps. The show is likely incomplete (at one point, the guitars are feeding back as the band prepares to start a song, then there is a quick cut and the taper is suddenly up on the balcony and there is no feedback), but what was captured is still great to watch. This doesn't eclipse the other show on the disc, but it's a nice addendum. |
