It's a mix of "pre elektric band" fusion like Silver Temple and lighter & jazzier latin Chick Fare. I uploaded a recording of this line-up from Wash DC a while back but this one is a little more jamming/interesting/complete. Some oversaturation evident but I'm not complaining! As someone who loves Chick and tolerates Gayle's sometimes grating vocals, I find this one has her sounding suprisingly pleasant and impressive-IMO. |
