1st set and "Starship Trooper": Oade mics > Sony PCM-M1 Phantom Power > ??? transfer > CD > EAC (secure) > Wavelab 4.0 > CDWAV, From Box 55. Rest of the show is Coresounds High End Binaural mics (DPA 4061) > Battery Box (filter on) > Oade Mod SBM-1 using LINE IN > Sony PCM-M1 from Section 1 Row N (14th row right, about 5 seats from the outside aisle). > CD > EAC (secure) > Wavelab 4.0 > CDWAV. The 2nd set was taped by the great JB and sounds a bit better, but he was back by the soundboard for the first set that didn't come out as nice. So what I did, is patch this nearly as great 2nd source for the 1st half, and for Trooper which had some problems on JB's tape. The result was an excellent sounding complete show, and this one has probably the best sounding acoustic set of the tour. The EAC > Wavelab> CDWAV parts of both recordings were my doing, as I lowered the bass on both sections and evened out the volume throughout. |
