| J-Card Comment | Susan Tedeschi Band South Shore Music Circus Cohasset, MA June 28, 2009 This was the last of three "homecoming shows" for Susan, who grew up in nearby Norwell. The crowd was older than previous shows, but very enthusiastic, and the band responded with an excellent performance. Some of keyboard player Matt Slocum's family was in attendance, and Susan responded by giving him some well-deserved extra space during the show. Ron Holloway's and Dave Yoke's solos were excellent as always. The sound was relatively good for a tent venue and the recording captures it accurately. The recording is marred only by some noise issues during Just Won't Burn and For No One, as I had to un-wire myself to heed a most urgent nature's call, and my wife became a temporary taper, not willing to wear the admittedly dorky hat in which my mics were mounted. I repaired and patched the recording to the best of my limited ability. Enjoy and share freely, and remember if you sell, you go to hell.
