Note | I got my version of this show in a trade in the late 70's on cassette
tape. It was improperly labeled as 7-21-71 and at the time there wasn't any tour schedule available to verify. When I attended the first Yes convention in Cherry Hill, NJ in 1985 I gave my trade list to DJ Ed Sciaky. Being the Yes fan that he was he corrected the date for me and proceeded to tell me a few anecdotes about the band and his first meeting with them on that tour. I don't know the lineage or generation of my version, but the quality is as good or better than the Highland version. I classify this version as an upgrade for a couple of reasons. One, it is speed-corrected and runs about two and half minutes longer. The last song is from the same source whereas the Highland version has been processed with reverb and some sound widening (why, I don't know). My version appears to be the most complete albeit if only a few seconds more of crowd or in-between song chatter. BTW, the original txt file with the previous version listed Everydays. That was not part of any version I've ever heard. |
