Remastered by TheTooleMan, April, 2003 and February, 2008

Lineage: audience recording -> Relayerman -> TheTooleMan (2003) -> Sound
Forge - CD audio -> (2008) EAC -> FLAC

By request!

There's a cut in TRSOG, probably a tape flip, and that seemed a natural point
for the transition to disk two.

Audio quality is fairly good. Excellent performance.

Enjoy the art by JAS.

remastering notes:
The above is the original info file incl. with this, torrent # 183046
as posted by the Toole Man on Feb. 9, 2008. I have also included the art that came with it.
this is definitely a glasnostrd19 first here (a remastered remaster).
a sound sample is attached in the comment column.
This is something I did not expect to do until I saw that the original
post has 2 tracks- and 2 CD's for 1 song. If one or the other had a reason for
doing it this way I cannot figure it out at all. These guys both have done some good remastering
including this torrent but I am redoing it mainly because when I put on a CD I want a song to
begin and end on 1 CD. (not even Jethro Tull has made a multi CD Thick as a Brick that I've heard yet,
and NO yes song is too long for 1 CD). Tales are often not recorded completely,
4 songs that can run 25 min. each recorded on C-90 will have that problem (as this master did)
but besides making awkward listening, it also made unbalanced CD's. If this was a crummy Yes show,
or a crummy recording, I wouldn't bother doing this at all. It is neither. So why
not hear it with a little better continuity?
The Toole Man, and the Relayerman put this together, now it's my turn to add my
ten minutes of two bit fame and glory. They gave us a nice show here, I have
spliced together TRSOG into 1 track and re-edited the beginning of the Ancient
so it begins in an applause lull just before Anderson talks about it. This
makes for a better break point for burning to disc (and better balance of discs.)
and I have left it seamless (there is a very brief moment of silence in the middle of
TRSOG where it fades in and out) so this is suitable for saving to DAT too.
will this be dime's most remastered remaster? Probably not quite, but it's close.
I've heard a few TFTO shows, this is one of the better shows I've heard.
I've included the original artwork (since I don't know how to do it and don't have the needed
equipment to do it even if I did know how.) It will need some correcting now.
The sound files should not need any more. I made some minor level adjustments too but
nothing very significant, the original remaster was a good one for the sound quality
and that is unaltered here (no noise reduction or processing was done by me).
