Flaws Noted:
first minute+ of Golgi clipped, tape flutter/volume swell at about 1:00,
some tape flutter in the beginning of YEM,
Touch Me has a bit more hiss than the rest- see below
Post-Production: WavEditor used to address channel issues from probable cassette azimuth problems (not mine) - added 20% of left channel to right channel tracks 1-7(cass.side A) - added 10% of right channel to left channel tracks 8&9(cass.side B)
Track 10 - Touch Me had it's own special issues. The right channel was virtually gone, and what was there was out of phase. I removed the right channel entirely and copied the left channel signal into the right channel, essentially creating a fake stereo, but actually mono, signal.
All this work was done to bring you a decently enjoyable seed of one of my favorite Phish tapes. The SBD for this show has never circulated until now, and it's my hope that this imperfect offering will convince the parties holding the SBD masters to break them out and render this seed obsolete. To me, this show is worth the effort as it represents one of the best mixes to be found from the Giant Country Horns tour. Enjoy!
