J-Card CommentR.E.M. Reconstruction tour northeast - 20th anniversary series. August 16, 1985 - Toronto Concert Hall Sony TCD-6M/Nacamichi CM-300 > Audience cassette master > Cassette > CDR > dBpowerAMP > WAV > FLAC Frontend > Flac files This is an excellent audience recording that is only one analog generation from the master. It was taped by David O. Thomas, who is the source of many of the high quality audience recordings from this period. I would give this at least an A-/EX-. It is very clear with plenty of low end. There is some distracting talking but it really only occurs between songs near the beginning of the show. This is a particularly inspired show, and the encores are mostly covers.
