So, here is the complete soundboard recording of the May 10, 1985 show. Since I was not here in May to post it on the exact anniversary, consider this a bonus or grand finale to the 20th anniversary series. I call this complete because I am confident that this includes the entire source recording, unlike the edited versions on most of the available bootlegs. All of the songs are here, but there are some missing pieces. The first few seconds of “Gravity” and “Pale Blue Eyes” are cut. Much of “Kensey” is cut due to what appears to be a source tape flip. This is not a perfectly crisp soundboard, but it sounds very nice. I do not know the exact lineage, so I am certain there are at least a few cassette generations in there, but not too many because I got it back in early ‘86. I give this an A-, but listen to the sample. I assembled some artwork using a t-shirt I had from the Preconstruction tour, and from a photo of a promo poster and ticket stub provided by chris15, who attended the show. This concludes the R.E.M.
