I found that the keyboards were much nicer sounding on this version than the other. Unfortunately I did not have windscreens for the 461's and there is a bit of wind noise from the huge overhead fan at this venue. Despite this shortcoming, the overall sound is better than my "primary" take so this is the one I have chosen to share. 3 times during the show, a particularly off-balance attendee bumped into me hard enough to force me into my mic stand. I have overwritten the resultant impact noise with the signal from the other rig, (akg 483s > Apogee MiniMe > Microtrack 24/96 at 44.1/24). One of these edits is included in sample 1 of my original upload on DIME. |
