Stereo SBD trade tape

Trade tape > Computer WAV > TLH v2.4.1 > FLAC 8 > DIME > you
Big thanks to the original taper, and to the trader who hooked me up with a copy.
I originally mastered this 2009-06-20.
Beyond the removal of an official song (SEE NOTES), everything else on the source tape is here; nothing was done to the sound.
Some Massacre shows were promised long ago back in the Henry Cow flood days, now I can fulfill it.
This FLAC fileset comes from WAVs from this dub, which only needed SBE corrections in TLH; no CD-Rs or EACs.

NOTES

I bought a copy of this tape off of Zorch Enterprises (Chicago) back in 1984 or so.

The name of the venue was not provided when I got the tape.

The tape does have some hiss, it's obviously some gens down from the original board tape, but it's quite listenable.

There's an edit just after Killing Time, and another after F.B.I., all on the source tape; maybe encore pauses?

What would have been Track 11 here I'd noted as "Corridor II", but this version is identical to the one on the official LP.
(Mind you, not nearly as crisp and clear, but the notes / feedback / etc. are matched to a T.)
Despite what the CDs say, that Corridor was recorded live in Paris, this version IS the same (not Corridor I earlier in the set).
As such, I edited it out & faded out before it / faded in after it; and hey you still get to hear Corridor I anyway.

On the chance one might think "well is this really the Paris show?", I went and closely compared the other tracks said to be from there.
Either they're not present here / they do not match those here, so this isn't Paris.

To me this is the best of the old Massacre live tapes; if you only get one, this would be my recommendation.
It's a soundboard with decent sound, it's got a fuller dose of the tracks that ended up on the LP / later CD, and there's still improv too.
it's a smoking hot show; no wonder why some french show music ended up as part of the album.
