First of all, our group was the only people open taping at this show. The Bonnaroo security team would not allow mic stands into Centeroo this particular sunday, so the mic's Tbar was duct taped to a tent pole and handheld for the entire show. We had several DAT patchers, but someone early in the chain had a bad digital cable so every digital patch was essentially lost. My mindidisc patch was incomplete, so Steve and Andrew's tapes were the only source made from this set. I received CD's from Steve in the mail a few months later. I made a "bad burn" of these discs in a trade one time, and so several people have an incomplete copy with lots of pops and clicks as well as strange track transitions. This source is from the original CD's that were made from the DAT master. I've had several people ask me for this set, so hopefully it will replace the bad copy that has been lightly circulated for 5 years thus far. There are points when the apocalyptic thunderstorm happening outside the tent is audible in the recording. Thanks to Tom on umphreaks for compiling a setlist! CD extraction performed with xACT. Checksum logs verifying successful extraction are included in this folder. Extraction performed on a Macbook running Tiger 10.5.7, with the stock Matshita UJ-857E DVD-R drive. |
