THE DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN TOUR COMPILATION. The Nevinsrip Basement Tapes is back again with John Juergensen's DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN Compilation. As with Johns past comps, this is all of the songs played on the Darkness Tour in alphabetical order. This is a 5 disc collection. Here are Johns original notes: First, between The River Tour and The Rising Tour, there were only three tour shows from which we have no tapes. On this tour, there were over 20 shows with no confirmed audio recordings. So, this is as complete a list as we have. These are the songs that have been verified as being played. Brucebase mentions New York City Serenade and Runaround Sue as being played, but these are not confirmed. I used Sea Cruise from The River tour because, although it was verified as being played, there is no known audio of this portion of the show. Finally, I did not include the tracks from the rehearsals as these were not played at a full tour show. |
