Comments: One of the most legendary concerts ever! Over 3 hours long and what a show. There are lots of previews for the 5th album including The Ocean, Over The Hills & Far Away and Dancing Days which is performed twice! During a very long and relaxed acoustic section Black Country Woman gets its first live airing, 3 years before it is released and 5 years before it is played live again. The organ medley contains many songs including Louie Louie!, dedicated to the Seattle band the Kingsmen. Dazed and Confused is one of the longest and best versions ever, including Walter's Walk and The Crunge among other references. A truely amazing show that takes off from the first bars of Immigrant Song. A classic concert...possibly "The" best performance overall from 1972! |
