June 12, 2008 Early Show The Regency Ballroom San Francisco, California USA dpa 4060 {core-sound HEB} > iRiver iHP120 ROCKBOXED This is a pretty good sounding audience recording. Some chatty know-it-alls within microphone range and a serious whistler behind me. I was just in front of the soundboard and it isn't that big a place. I'm not a fan of the sound {or the wooden folding chairs on a hardwood floor} in this venue but the crew was great and they tackled the very live acoustics with a massive amount of cabinets and adjusting onstage volume levels during the show to keep it as balanced as they could. Why this group didn't play Yoshi's or The Fillmore I don't know. I shall blame the promoters for now. Hopefully the set list and tracking are close to right. 01. Hymn Of The 7th Galaxy 02.
