Bean Blossom, IN: 1) Bill Harrell & The Virginians (with Harrell-guitar, Carl Nelson-fiddle, Darrell Sanders-banjo, & Ed Ferris-bass), and 2) Lester Flatt & The Nashville Grass (featuring Flatt, Charlie Nixon-Dobro, Marty Stuart-mandolin, Blake Williams-banjo, Clarence "Tater" Tate-fiddle, Curly Seckler-guitar, & Pete Corum-bass); Stuart was in his late-teens at the time, and later went on to country music stardom.
