NoteCrazy, chaotic show. The video really isn't bad quality, and other than a bit of grain the original analog source has survived very well. However, the taper never really gets settled, and there are constant heads and stage-divers obscuring the view. Some good close-ups here and there, but whenever the crowd goes nuts, the taper gets jostled and the camera shakes all over the place. Not recommended for those who get motion sickness. The sound is excellent however, and Kurt's voice is particularly strong. Polly is joined in progress and apparently Pennyroyal Tea was played before this, but not recorded. The performance starts out really tight, but Kurt has gear problems throughout and his guitar keeps cutting out. Then the microphone is pulled into the crowd during Negative Creep, and the band has occasional trouble getting back on track after that point. Still a really fun show with a killer setlist, and the first performance of Smells Like Teen Spirit gives this one a bit of historic value, so serious fans will find a lot to like here. Just take some dramamine first.
