I hope people don't mind the hiss reduction, I think it improves it without harming it (and I just finally got a copy of Cool Edit Pro, ha. I'm not familiar enough with it yet to trust it though). Live at the Wireless studio sessions are usually done in one take, with the band playing a short live set without interruption and with no audience. The Dandy Warhols though seem to have stopped the tape for a couple of breaks in their performance. The DJ was a bit snarky about them beforehand, saying she hopes that they play better than they interview, but you won't hear her on this. Good to know the DW's were making friends. For me, a fantastic version of Be-In. Azure Sea. |
